Mine came with the carbon fiber paddles but no carbon fiber steering wheel. Just asked my sales guys to follow up on this. I thought the carbon wheel was only the GT2RS, but no so!
My SA told me about 2 weeks ago that my January delivery would be missing the correct steering wheel and I would get it later. Something about a carbon fiber supplier that had a fire at their facility.

Sadly my car started production first day after the summer factory shutdown, so it appears they were able to get more correct frunks in stock. As a result it appears I wont get the nice bonus incorrect frunk as an ED Souvenir...very bummed actually. But I will know for sure next week when I fly over to pick it up.

My car was just delayed 1 week to finish production on the 14th. I haven't heard anything about the steering wheel yet, not sure if they are correcting the frunk issue with my car I guess I'll find out in 2 weeks
I'm going to make sure the carbon fiber sway bars are in place when I get the car corner balanced and aligned. I tried to check them out but couldn't see them without a lift. Hopefully we all get good news that the steering wheels will be available earlier than 2019!
Any news on ordered WP, my car is scheduled to be built the end of this month and as far as I know it still will be built as specced. I have read in various threads that no WP will be built now. Not sure if this is true.
WP cars in Lizard or Black will be missing the visible carbon fibre hood because of high demand - probably delivery in mid november. All WP cars, both GT2 RS and GT3 RS are missing the carbon fibre steering wheel, no date yet but heard something about feb/mars 2019.

Why only Lizard or Black? I wouldn't think the color would matter, either they have the hoods or they don't. And not sure if it matters that I'm in the U.S.
It appears the parts shortage of WP frunks is over. Picked up my RS yesterday in Zuffenhausen, sadly mine had the correct frunk...wanted a souvenir for my trip! The RSs I saw on the production line all had correct frunks. My guess is that if your RS was built before August factory break you’ll get incorrect frunk; if after them you’ll get correct frunk. Steering wheel isn’t correct still.
Mine with correct frunk; a fellow RLers WP car without the correct frunk..lucky guy!
