That is terrible news. Really sorry about that, Dan.

Dan, you are lucky the car is the only thing that is lost. Anyone who would break into your house at night while you are home is someone who will do anything. Glad you guys are okay. Really sucks to hear about the car. It is just a car but still.

kobalt, here is some advice, go to autogespot, sort spots by country, contact every car spotter you can in Poland and sweeden, offer a real cash reward on sight and proven info. Check for " supercar of sweeden" and Poland and even maybe russia. Have them reach out. 2 weeks ago car spotters found and help catch 2 car robbers that stole an middle eastern aventador.
Even pay for a couple of shoutouts on insta on big car spotting pages in sweden, russia and poland.

Car may still be in town, I’d knock on every single door in the neighborhood and ask if they have surveillance cameras pointing at the street, with the nvr/cloud limitations you don’t have much time, being red it’s gonna be easier to spot on camera even on night mode.

A short update:
We know now thanks to tracker the first movements of the car.
The car was later sighted by a young road working car guy on a small road.
The road is Road 331 from Graninge. It was sighted about 8kms south of Graninge.
According to my insurance company the cars are often parked somewhere cooling off for later dismantling.
So right now we have the police, insurance company and the internet community involved.
Again: Thanks for the support, much appreciated!

I think it would be hard to tell if this was done by a Professional.
Remember about 18 months ago the Gentleman who had his GT3 car stolen from his Beverly Hills home only to learn the Culprits found the keys when they broke in and took the car for a joy ride. Car was recovered from what I recall
Hard to believe they broke in while Family was sleeping to recover the keys. Possible it was a similar situation.
BTW - I always have my GT3 key hidden for this reason. I keep my other keys on the counter

Sorry to hear. Originally hoped this was a prank or a joke until I saw your update. Hope the police catch a break and are able to recover the car. The only upside is being professional thieves they probably had no interest in joyriding--making noise and drawing attention to themselves. So if they reach the car before phase 2, it will likely be in perfect condition. Joyriders would drive it ***** out, probably crash it, spill beer, vomit in it....
