GT3 Touring: too loud?

if you want a quiet car buy a Buick

Neither engine or exhaust is too loud and there is no drone but the road noise from the tires could be pretty tiresome depending on road surface. It´s not a problem with nice smooth roads but when you live in a country where millions of studded tires trashes the road for 6 months each year it could get pretty loud...
But I solved the problem with Bose noise canceling headphones which works great, - I´m not borderline deaf after compensating road noise with the in-car Bose stereo upon arrival at my destination anymore now

Akra makes the nest exhaust hands down
On my 997.1 GT3 and 997.2 GT3RS (still own) I had many different exhasust that people rave about here
When I replaced the last one with an Akrapovic sport cup....I never changed. It is the best sounding exhaust on a 997 GT3....with zero drone

Three Wheelin'
My build locks in a week or so and after seeing that German fella's chalk Touring car in his videos, I'm now considering changing to a Touring from a winged car. Part of that is that I would love to add houndstooth seat inserts, which I think look good only on the Touring car.
My two hesitations are 1) part of me feels a GT3 should be a proper GT3 with a wing and alcantara interior and 2) I'm worried after what I've heard that the Touring's noise levels might just be too much to live with daily.
Can those who own or experienced Touring cars contribute their thoughts to this thread so we can sort of get it all in one place?
Thanks

We've installed a few and the sound is absolutely incredible. And the crazier part is that the the quality of the Akra's outshine the sound and performance. Simply put they are the best of the best. Let us know if you decide to ending up going that route for yours - I'd love to help.
