So I'm fortunate to have a 991.2 GT3 on order and currently own a 991.1 GT3 (with 18 way seats). The one option I'm still going back on forth on with the new car is LWB versus the 18 ways. As I'm 6"2 while wearing a helmet the top of my head tends to get close or knock against the roof in my current car unless I recline more than I might usually. I had LWB in a previous GT4 and, besides the entry/exit dance, enjoyed them but recognized there isn't much choice to create more headspace when wearing a helmet on track due to the lack of the option to recline.

Anyone 6"2 or over who has opted for LWB and, if so, how do you fit while wearing a helmet?

And yes, I think I've seen a similar topic on this before but search wasn't coming up with any relevant threads.

6"3, no issue with helmet and the LWB plenty of room. The seats do raise/lower, and if you need extra room you can always pull out the bottom cushion.

6’7”. Can track with the LWB without any
trouble. You’ll be fine. You can also remove the lower seat cushion in the LWB and gain 2 inches which I do at the track as it gets me lower in the car which I like.

6'5 here - I have lwb and the seat reline mod. It's brutal for me. Very uncomfortable with helmet - Have to slouch down and deal with it.

* in all fairness though - have not tried pulling the cushions out
