After months of hand wringing and warming up to the notion of Chalk with black and silver pepita inserts, my GM confirmed my Gulf Blue GT3 Touring build last Friday. The "boss" confirmed it in writing yesterday. All's well that ends well.—Robert

Nice. Aluminum or black trim?

Ahh... the idea was to keep it classic, so I opted for aluminum trim with silver wheels and "clear" headlamps. PCCBs are a nice accent against the silver, too. Inside, buckets with pepita and silver belts, and carbon dash trim and doorsills. I'm a bit of a purist, and like the anachronistic standard interior, especially that "cheapo" dash that reminds me of my old 964 and Gulf Blue 993 C4S. Wish I still had that one!

Gulf Blue is classic.

I'd been corresponding with Mr. Zellmer about other business and in his most recent reply, he mentioned that the PTS issue was resolved, urging me to contact my GM.
It remains to be seen whether I'll have to go with full custom seats (in which case I'll probably deviate to Graphite Blue leather w/ GB & Chalk pepita) or just inserts. Inserts are preferable, insofar as black is the most classic design solution and less expensive, too. Either way, I'm grateful the factory made a final decision regarding PTS, and now life can assume some semblance of normalcy. Of course, even in gray primer, it'd be a remarkable car.

Folks, put your order in if you want it. It will get rejected and leave it as such. Your order will go to v100 but that is okay. Your build must be within the above mentioned months and it will be on a first come first serve basis.
