Hmm I’ll keep practicing! I’ve only daily driven manual cars my entire driving life, and daily drive an M2 right how and drove my GT4 extensively on track, and the clutch on the GT3 is driving me crazy and is nowhere near as smooth and easy to drive as either of those 2 cars. I’ll have to drive someone else’s .2 to compare and make sure something isn’t off...

I suspect my leg muscle memory just needs to adapt to the new behavior...

Guess you didn't run into a Sheriff and ruin his breakfast.

i hope you get comfy with it. You have plenty of manual experience for sure. Hopefully just some adaptation.

Only at 220 miles or so so far. Could just be from babying it a bit during break-in...

I have the same feeling.
I have the same "looking" car in Viper Green. Going from 991.1 to 991.2 manual. The car is "the best car I have ever driven"

I am lucky to now have one of each and manual is a homerun and was missed. I supported change to PDK only for .1 but my god the manual is epic!

We need to put a small group of guys together who live in the proximity to the smokies. I am just outside charlotte and have been up 3 times in the last 2 months. I would love to set up a few days with a small group to hit some roads. I have been hitting some solo days on the blue ridge, closer to me, then spend a day in the smokies. no better place to enjoy these cars. My brother comes up from atlanta and the 2 of us hit the roads on fridays, no one is around, heavenly!

Great post. I echo your feelings about this car. It is by far the best GT3 I have owned. I sometimes missed my .2 997 but no longer. This one exceeds all my expectations. The engine is unbelievable. I love the clutch feel and shifter engagement. I feel this is the best looking of all of them; imo. I have always wished for the exclusive RS. Had a couple opportunities to purchase very low mileage examples at MSRP, however, am very happy I went this route instead.

Sean ~ I'd love to tag along any time you feel the need to take another early morning run.

Reviving this thread...

Did you guys happen to put together a group to run with consistently? If so, most definitely let me know. I'm in N. Buckhead and also in a 991.2 GT3--manual gearbox of course. Only had her a month or so at this point, but what a car...
