I was informed that it takes one whole day to make one carbon fiber wheel, and they have one machine to produce these carbon fiber wheels.

You are correct Whoopsy. I ordered my Turbo S Exclusive Series last year September and took delivery last January. Dealer two weeks ago called confirming if I still want my carbon fiber wheel set that comes with new tires.

I was informed for street use the carbon fiber wheels should be good to go. However it is not recommended for heavy track use as heat is the biggest enemy of carbon fiber wheels. Maybe on the next iteration of these carbon fiber wheels unless they discover a better heat resistant glue, they are intending to reinforce the spokes and hub with magnesium. So we will see.

Again street use the carbon fiber wheels is awesome to use, much lighter and great "Bling Effect."

Drive safe,

I was at the unveiling of the carbon wheel & turbo S exclusive series at an event at Pebble Beach Car week last year. I dont forget the exact quote, but someone asked AP if we would see these on GT cars and he was pretty dismissive, saying they had no place on a track oriented car.

Just saw the carbon wheels and picked them up. Very light, feels strange to to pick them up. Note the metal cover (heat shield) for hub and spokes.

if I could have gotten an RS at the price point I offered, there is no way I would have considered it w/o the WP. And when I pull up next to you in your non-wp rs, I’ll judge the hell out of you

if if you don’t want the wp, get a regular gt3, or a turbo, and go put on your khakis!

I love my '80's Khakis! Since I got one at MSRP and there is a major delay on full WP it might be a moot point. Its actually the wheels I like most especially with the Black/black/PCCB but those may never be available on the 3RS due to shortages . Second the hood thing looks like an '80's Civic or Integra my buddies drove. Looks awful.

Agreed, my RS will not have WP and is due to me in May. ( UK). I think the Black hood and roof are OTT.

BBS race wheels. E88 can be had with mag centers and there are more models and brands making racing wheels. So that's the 15%, racing market.
