Anyways, these are my longtime favorites.
While we are on this topic....its funny where different background and upbringing have different view on the equipment when it comes to driving. I once watched a clip on Youtube where this British guy Chris Harris was reviewing a car on the track and he was driving it like he stole it. He was wearing gloves, but no helmet.

I had never used any sort of driving glove in my entire life and decided to buy a pair of the Porsche design black leather gloves from Suncoast for driving my *PDK* GT3 in Europe (yep - judge me lol). Turns out to be one of the best purchases I made in preparation for my trip along with my EU power adapter, I used the gloves every day. Both when it was cold out/through the snow in the Alps, driving the Ring for uncompromised grip on the leather steering wheel with white knuckles holding on for dear life / through the Black Forest, and everything in between.

I don't particularly like being "seen" wearing them as I agree that others will likely think you are a dbag tool for using driving gloves, but hey if you like them and they enhance or make the driving experience better for you, then why not. I don't get why something like that should offend/bother someone else on the road enough for them to judge, but that's just me, and I try to just mind my own business the same.. Life is too short

Anytime you are operating an iPhone there is absolutely no reason to be wearing driving gloves. lol

If for no other reason, I wear them to protect my alacantara wheel and shifter from skin oils and sweat...

Never thought of golf gloves before for driving but makes sense now that you suggested it.
