Yeah that can be easily fixed with a drill press but probably not necessary

You never see the wire and it isn't hitting anything.

much easier way it to unbolt he 4 bolts holding the rails to the floor - takes less than 3 min. Pull the whole seat out with rails still on and put it on a bench and then install the trackspec. Make you life 100 times easier. I actually didn't like the position so sold mine. Its a personal thing for sure. Dont forget to disconnect your battery before instal

I don’t like the position on the street, but like it on track with a helmet.

What's the correct procedure to disconnect the battery? I had to take my car back to the dealer to clear all the faults created.

Anyone in the Phoenix area have these installed on a GT3 or GT3RS? Would like to sit in them and compare before I buy/install. TIA.

Unfortunately, that's the only procedure.

On newer Porsches anytime battery is disconnected one gets and automatic CEL and has to go directly to a dealer for reset... do not pass go... and pay $200 LOL

Many dealers though will reset it a n/c if you just tell them you disco'd battery for reason X. Takes about 3 minutes start to finish... guess how I know.

Why go to the dealer for something like that? With a OBD code reader you can clear those type of codes easily.

WTF are you nuts talking about. I've disconnected my battery a bunch of times and never once gotten a CEL.
Only weird thing I've had to do is reset the auto function on the window buttons.

Exactly the same on all my previous P-cars but on the Macan ('15) and my 991.2 GT3 ('18) I get CEL each time I disco... no key in ignition, no nothing. Just disco and then bingo.

Have you tried on your 991?

Disconnected the battery on my 991.2 GT3 a number of times, no CEL. I make sure that the key is out of the ignition and a door is open before I disconnect the battery.

Yeah, like I said... I've disconnected the battery many times. I'm talking about the 991.2 GT3.

Just a thought.. could it be a PDK vs MT thing? My 991.2 GT3 is an MT and no CEL with a battery disconnect.
