I've seen every excuse for why their is an ADM. Before- VIP buys car and puts a 1000 miles on it and returns/trades it. Now- a stolen car returned with a 1000 miles, in perfect condition, and up for sale for 35,000 over

The keys look like the car. If you see the keys, you grab them, and head for the car with the matchy paint, then click the button from a few feet away. Not so complex that an inside job is required.

One can also hit the alarm button on the keys and the car will announce it's self. I've helped move cars before, all we would do is grab keys, hit the alarm or lock button, and quickly find the car. Didn't need to look at the ID tag on the key to see what it was.

That car is not being driven for fun. It was put on a car carrier quickly and moved out of the area.

If the PCM transmitter does not have an in housing backup battery, then it would be an incredible poor design and engineering. I do know for a fact that Audi and MB do have a 9Volt x 1200miliAmph lipo. giving the transmitter about 48 hours worth of pings (one a minute).
