Satin Gold wheels

Satin Gold wheels
So here we are. Almost a year ago, picked up a 16' GT Silver GT3 from Carlsen. Looks like I've got a slot for the .2 in the fall. Considered PTS, but decided on black to blend all the other black bits. My question is how to get the stock wheels changed to Satin gold. I just like the flat magnesium color being shown on the .2 GT3 RS. Could this be painted or powder coated?

I have an appt with a Porsche Certified Auto Body shop this Sat. because we are going to paint my Satin Aluminum wheels this color. I assume it will be Powder coated and then the Satin clear coat will be painted. The important thing, first, is for them to find the match. I am hoping they can order some touch up paint from Porsche for the wheels that we then can have color- matched.
I do not know how this all works so it will be interesting but I love the color of the new wheels. It is subtle but perfect. I do not want to paint my wheels Bronze or Gold but White Gold
If any one has any info I would be interested in hearing

Dealer sent me a link of the config this morning hoping that means I'm in.
Debating to go black white or chalk - black is easiest saves a few ticks on the boxes which helps justify magnesium wheels. Powder coated a lot of things it's never as easy to get a match have no desire for that brain damage.

GT3 RS wheels are "Aurum" paint code. The mag wheels will be available in 02/19, likely to be satin white Gold (as per GT2 RS WP). Non WP GT2 RS wheels are gloss white gold - different wheel design too.

Thank you. Aurum gold. I'm intending on getting this color on my current wheels and swapping them with the .2 wheels when the car comes in. I actually think this color would work with my current GT Silver.

I painted my spyder wheels 539 white gold like the GT2RS wheel, and will do the same with gt3. Don't powdercoat, it doesn't give that same shine, looks dull.. possibly compromises the metal in the wheel. Find any bodyshop, get 539 white gold paint and then do a clearcoat. You'll get the result you're looking for

Funny - I was looking at that '16 GT3 in GT Silver at Carlsen as well last year when the owner turned it in
the .2 3RS and .2 2RS mag wheels would look killer on the GT3, too bad not same size

I don't think you can go wrong with the paint, but Powder coat worked well for me, I've had them for 2 months now, and continue to get compliments, we used 'Titanium Gold' with a 'Gloss Clearcoat':

I just received a set of bronze OZs from a fellow RLer. Very pleased as I felt the satin/white gold would conflict with the PCCBs. (Leaving other side stock/black until I can get out into sun for comparison pics.)
I do like the titanium gold with gloss clear coat on white though, even over PCCBs.
