No joke, can we ask the moderators to ban any new threads about value, depreciation, etc.?

Why? Just don't click on the thread. It really is that simple.

It's not as if the OP is talking about politics or being mean to people. I personally don't care about depreciation at all but some do. It's fine.

These are the new GT3 owners and what they want to talk about. I wonder what % of GT3 buyers would buy some other performance car if there was a perception of collectability or minimal depreciation. What if you could drive a huracan or an AMG gtr free for a year? Would 20% of GT3 buyers be buying those instead? 30%? How much easier would that make it for the rest of us to get a configurable allocation at MSRP?

True, but we still have to scroll through a dozen or so of these threads on the front page every time we log on. It's gotten absolutely ****ing ridiculous, to the point where I wonder if some of them aren't just trolling the forum. Maybe we just need a 'Car Value' sub-forum.

"God, why are allocations impossible to get..."
"You wouldn't guess what my dealer is doing with their allocations, I've bought x cars from them"
"Is 10-15k over a good ADM"

"I'm planning to drive my car 2k miles, can I get 10k more than I paid for it still"
"What's the lowest cost finance option with zero out of pocket"
"How long can I drive the car without any money lost/depreciation"

Reality on a car, not an investment, it's a car and should be bought for utility - not return on capital.

Drive them, and enjoy them. +1 vote for a sub forum of value threads or consolidated thread.

If only Porsche gave out allocations based on past miles driven, laps on track, most miles between microfiber sessions you’d be a Platinum VIP.
