As I have mentioned before, I spec'd my Touring to be as close as possible to my 964 RS because I see the Touring as the first true spiritual successor to the 964 RS since that car.
Today the two came together for the first time on display in the showroom of my dealer....and I must admit that they look exactly as I hoped they would. It's a only small item, but I am particularly pleased with the satin black door handles that were specially painted to match the window trim. Just like they are on the 964.
Saturday there is professional photographer coming in to take a bunch of shots.....and then in two weeks time I have a very special event happening. One of the major Porsche magazines is doing a feature story on my two cars. Will tell you more after the event.

That is amazing! This is the only time I wouldn’t mind seeing orange side markers on a modern Porsche.

What is the exterior color?
I wouldn’t try and match the pccb s. The yellows are different enough that it’s noticeable. The black touring above has the seatbelt which is cool but yellow stitching would have been over the top I think. Just my $0.02
i went with silver stitching on my lava orange with silver belts to match satin aluminum wheels. My UV RS is spec’d that way and I love it.

The red one in the photos above appears to have its Front Axle Lift engaged (see front vs back). But still interested to know if they did change the ride-height. That would mean a *major* omission in all the PR for the touring.

the car looks like it has the traditional tail down stance of older 911s

Interesting, but not good. The front looks way too high. Has this "difference" (vs non-touring) been mentioned anywhere? Did they remove the shipping spring-inserts from the car?

I bet it's just the Front Axle Lift engaged. I thought the same thing when I first saw my Touring. It tuned out the lift was engaged. The Touring has the same ride height as the winged car.

wow that would be huge news if thats the case. i'll wait to see the other chris do his side-by-side though as it seems hard to believe, there must be something else going on here
