Considering buying a GT3 RS

Have the RS Voo Doo steels and comfort seats.
100% honest other cars always were preferred over the RS. 65 degrees a drive was arranged and since the RS was for sale thought let's give it a shot.
Often lead or follow the lead car - about midway took the lead as I pushed the RS it shocked me. The sounds the torque it's feel for the road. It's still for sale but questioning what car would ever be this driver focussed and comfortable. At pace I found myself fiddling with the radio while in other cars don't dare take one hand off the wheel - gotta admit it's a far better performance car than I ever imagined 18w seats are perfect ... always thought the Voo Doo RS was great looking but never thought it's performance would outweigh it's looks.
There will always be a faster Porsche - they have to sell cars every model will get better but at some point who cares. Buy what feels right and enjoy it.
This forum always seems to be chasing the latest and the greatest but for the RS guys - I now get it.

If you can, drive both and I am sure the decision will be obvious.
I prefer the 991 RS. It is quite comfortable to drive at low speeds but when you push it it is other worldly.
You will not be disappointed ... but the again, I am biased.

Go with your gut
i know how to drive a stick also.and love the connected feeling. (Drove a tanker for about 8 years of my life). But yet i prefer not to. But then again im in NYC. Stick is awesome in my head on the empty backroads I imagine being on. Reality is traffic and lots of it. And i love not getting leg cramps from playing with that 3rd pedal in traffic

991 RS or 997 RS both very good!
997.2 RS is more special and better drivers car.

You cannot go wrong either way. But I would probably lean towards the 997.2 RS because it fits my eye better. But both are awesome.

If it's going to accompany a stable of other cars, I would go 997.2 RS last of the Mezger.. I like the more discreet, stealthy look of the 997 RS compared with the just "kick down the door" look of the 991 RS lol
In an era where more cars are headed towards "Tesla-ification" I think the 997 RS would be a refreshing change, especially if you are leaning towards a manual transmission
