I love convertible driving. Most of my cars have been convertible. What I don't like is MT driving and for Porsche to option only the rumored MT would be a huge disappointment to me. A top down GT3 RS would be driving nirvana.

Its very limited production so it is kind of irrelevant because if you don't already have your name down and know you are getting one....then you're not.

My name is down but no commitment as of yet. Besides I need to see what it looks like. If it has the Beetle back hump not sure I would want it. The car would look weird.

Being manual is what makes this car so special! Otherwise get a turbo S, 458 spider, Huracan spider, etc.

Chris is right by the way. You would know by now if getting one.

Crazy as not even annouced and dealers have zero details ... perhaps they will make 2 or 3 thousand available ... they are in business to make $$

Correct. I suppose certain high value clients of Porsche would know but beyond that it will be no different from the GT2RS or the GT3RS.

but why not offering both. MT and PDK.
i would. if i would be P.

they don‘t need to make a hype like „only MT available“ it will be sold so or so.

so let your best clients decide how they want the car.


the topless -> night drives < just got me.
as darker it gets. the more the shift lights kick in.

So much want. I’m hoping there’s a chance I can get one, with the backup of the .2 3RS if allocations are too limited. Life should be good no matter what!

German Auto Bild - usually fairly accurate... looks good to me - and will sound even better in a tunnel than a standard GT3...

Looks really good from the front! It’s normally the side and rear quarter view that establish if the Speedster is a looker or a hump back whale.

either way I want one for the top down sound and manual
