At smokies GT an allocation was auctioned off to charity for $250k. Granted that's to raise money for cystic fibrosis but.. impressive charitable ADM nonetheless

Hennessy Porsche donated the allocation, and the car will sell for MSRP. Great cause, and a great dealer with good people. Great event all around hats off to the planners Sean and Mayur. Well done helping people in need.

Hennessey is donating their commission on the speedster to cf as well so really a big contribution. Amazing generosity from Hennessey and a future speedster owner, basically the best possible teamwork short of PAG donating a car straight up

Are you sure the dealership is an "S" Corp. or Partnership?. Can't tell what the dealer principal gave up (net, after tax) because tax rates between "S" and "C" are significantly different at Federal level (37% and 21%, respectively).

I was assuming the $250k was a donation by the buyer so tax deductible to the buyer but I was not there and am not up on tax issues like Martin.
