Long story short from my own personal experience at this point and time, its next to impossible to find an allocation at MSRP at this stage of the game, especially if you are not queued up on a dealer's list for the past 6+ months. But you never know, you could get lucky...

Neither dealer in metro Atlanta is particularly great, in my experience.
Porsche Atlanta Perimeter - formerly Jim Ellis Porsche - has/had a poorly specced .2 GT3 available for ~$200K (nearly $40K of secondary market markup)

I have purchased over the last 8 years three 911s from the same dealer so I have some history with my dealer…..I finally received a call from my dealer after being on the list for about 3 months…he told me they are sold out of GT3s….(which I guess means they know exactly how many allocations they are going to get over the next year or so and I’m way down the list)…..but went on to say they are getting calls from all over the USA offering 35K over MSRP…(which tells me if I offered 40K over I may have been moved up the list). I don't like the dealer games....So (and this may be sacrilege) I started looking at the Mclaren 570S.

I got on the list. Its a ways out for me, but I do have a little leg up as a multiple purchaser from this dealership. I bought a GT4 for the 1-2 year wait. While it has only been in my garage for almost a week now, I think I will have no problem waiting my turn for my allocation.

The one at Ellis in Atlanta is worth looking at......the car is 159K sticker and has been sitting there for at least 3 months......you might be able to talk them down.......spec is not that bad....has LWB seats, good color GT Silver.......PDK...
