Put N2 MPCS on the RS in RS tire sizes RS is faster than .2GT3. Simple.

We just need to see a test between the .1 RS and the .2 GT3 at the same track on the same day during the same session.
Our plan is to take the Vorsteiner .2 GT3 and install a set of Pirelli Trofeo R tires on it and compare it to my .1 RS at Thermal on the North/Desert Track config.

And to really make this fun, we are also going to bring a 720S and Peformante, both with the Trofeo R tire on it, and compare those 2 cars to the RS and GT3.
As someone said earlier, tires are EVERYTHING, so we are going to eliminate that variable with these tests.

Let the games begin!

P.S. I absolutely love my 991.1 RS but do have a PTS .2 GT3 on order and can't wait to do a full test with our upgrades on it to see how it compares.

what size trofeo are gonna be run . i tink you can put 265 fronts and 325 rears that would close the gap from the rs and gt3 footprint.

please don't do the test at thermal though.....

This would be a great test James. Like it has already been mentioned, getting 265/325 on the GT3 would be about as fair of a test as possible

Guys,
I happened to stumble across this video online last night. Please fast forward to 1:53. They did run with the new Gt3 vs. the Gt3RS. It sure looks like a close race, perhaps a bit faster for the gt3 as it braked sooner
than the RS. Assuming this is PDK vs. PDK and with equal drivers. What you guys think?

Trying to sort out the tires for the GT3 and when we do, we will get this done soon.
We are also looking into the proper fitment for the Lambo and the 720 (it actually now has the Trofeo R's on it but I haven't seen them yet in the shop, will tomorrow) but the RS already has the 265/325 Trofeo R's on it and it will be very interesting to see how these 3 behave on a road course.

Sorry that I don't have the video from Thermal this past weekend but we did just set the bar with a 1:54.3 on the North/Desert Section with our RS and that is the fastest time recorded by a street legal car on DOT tires.
For now the only video I have is a short clip on my IG page.....more video to come but that's all I have since I just did this on Sat.

We are doing the test at Thermal as we have 24/7 access there and we can keep the track fairly consistent. Would love to go to Laguna but they rarely have open days without 92DB limits.

I don't think that is from Porsche. I know that is the " published " time but I have never seen that from Porsche.

Does anyone have a Porsche publication that uses that time?

Cheers.

I will try 19” 235 F and 345 R in 2 weeks.
Actual measured width is very similar between 235/35/19R7 and 265/35/19R7 but the 235 does have a smaller diameter.
2 advantages; front sits lower adding grip and the ratio between front and rear size is closer to OEM.

Also adding diffuser.

All else oem so will have to fiddle with rake, bars and wing.
