When you keep in mind that the 1.5 Gs is only achieved due to road banking it's a lot less impressive. These cars are no where close to that sustained on a flat skidpad. No matter how big it is... A little bit of mid-corner camber/ banking goes a long way.

That s the problem, modern GT like the GT2 are made with the Ring in mind
but as you said the downforce at 186mph
is irrelevant
so the GT2
