Default Here is my new build

So I just left the dealership. My sales man said that they received a third wave of allocations. He also told me that they are expecting the production run to go into 2019. My build is not locked at this time but I signed an agreement for MSRP

Mexico blue for now but it’s a toss up between that, graphite blue and chalk. Saw a turbo s in chalk and that color is amazing in real life. Pictures don’t do it justice. None of the pictures I have seen online really capture the chalk color and how good it looks

My car is going to be a February build so they told me I should be able to get PTS. Would it be a crime to pass that up? I really like graphite blue and chalk but the opportunity for PTS is a rare occasion

If you can get PTS without a significant delay, then do it, IMHO. Mexico blue is a great color!

they said because my build being in february anyway, it would only delay it by 30-45 days. I spec'ed it in mexico blue but I really like those other colors... I can't decide but will have to eventually

Well -i t does look like another wave of allocations came thru- from the reports. This is great news for all. I hope all get one. I guess, in hindsight, I should of been more patient knowing my Dealer would come thru- but I took a cancelled car in transit. I guess one should not look a gifted horse twice in the mouth because I am happy with the build.- things happen for a reason

because of all the rumors on here, I was giving up hope. My dealer didn't help much because he also told me two months ago that they weren't expecting any more 2018 allocations and were told by Porsche, no 2019 allocations.

They received more 2018 allocation and expect to have at least 12 cars total (2017+2018) before 2019 (I was number 7)

In the end, looks like porsche will try to make as many GT3 as they can sell after all

so much for the drama...

I would vote for Mexico blue, chalk is almost on all models and going to be pretty common. So is graphite blue. I had a PTS order in until I switched to touring.

Where are all those people now who kept saying it was the final round of allocations two months ago ? I learned my lesson with the RS. They will build as many as the can.

Let's hope so. They told me they're expecting about 13 cars total but there are 30 people on the list.
