Great thread and thanks for putting this together. At what stage of production / allocation are VINs "created"?
From what time period do they represent? At 560 cars for NA, I wonder what % this represents of total VINs "created". Trying to extrapolate total cars expected to be produced. |
This is very valuable information. Thank you for putting it together.

As far as I can tell the cars in the database show up after the car exists production. They are not built in strict vin order. Some lower vin cars were built in October after higher vin cars. Likely product/supply batch scheduling and where there are PTS or CXX options delaying production start. These cars are a handful of August but mostly September and October to date. |
Fun thread, thanks guys I look forward to follow the numbers along and hopefully it will continue when they switch from GT3 to RS.

Great info, will follow it closely. Thank you.

I'm not sure exactly when the vin is created. I imagine it would correspond to some point along the production schedule around V250?

Great stuff! Thank you for compiling. PTS data would be really cool to see as it becomes available.

How many weeks of data is this? Maybe we can extrapolate out to Nov 2018 and beyond to guestimate the oft-asked question of how many 991.2 Gt3's will be built.

Love the stats/tallies.... but as stated, build your car's color & options the way you yourself like it. IMHO, don't build it for the "next" owner or what's trendy.
j/k...guess my no-bose no-led manual gt3 will never sell. |
great work, thank you for this! as johnny asked above, how many weeks of data is this?
|
It's basically August to October production...we can't really tell by weeks as that information is not given. Loess may have it broken down by week...he can chime in.

Thanks for this great thread! I have a GT3 Touring going V260 (vehicle entry to body shop) on 10/27, so I assume is an early one. It will be interesting to see what percentage are Touring.

If not, we can guess by comparing August numbers vs September and prorating?

560 GT3 are in V250 (educated guess per above), and that is just for NA for roughly 7 weeks production. As stated below, production must be dedicated to NA currently.
The below spreadsheet was posted in another thread. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...l#post14345601 |
