It's definitely worth a trip, especially if you avoid peak tourist season in the summer, and also don't just stay on the 'North Coast 500'.
We had 3 days of deserted roads, and even the rain meant lower limits and much fun...albeit we did almost lose 2/991 Rs in a field after one particularly slippery corner!
think we'll be going somewhere else this year, maybe Italy, which is great but Much less convenient for me, living in Edinburgh!

Love the picture of the R with the GT3. Can't look at that picture and not love the lines of the R. I really do hate that wing. Sooo glad Porsche made a GT3 Touring manual. Really wanted to get an R but was not lucky enough to get an allocation.

Footsoldier, thanks for the lovely pics. Reminds me of pics a friend of mine sent me (JC Stevens) when he was working for Ensco in Aberdeen and made friends with a group of car guys. Unfortunately, he crashed his GT3 and passed away over there. His trips to the Scottish Highlands/Le Mans with a group of guys like your own looked amazing. You guys definitely have the roads to make the most of cars like these.
