Look get an RS now. Everyone (the majority) of GT3.2 owners can't make the jump to 200k or more...but deep down they want an RS. "I don't like the wing" . "I don't like the fender vents"....yada yada. Its a protective mechanism. We all do it. Ask me how I know- as a prior 991 GT3 owner.
Now for value. When RS.2 comes out it will have crazy ADM. This will absolutely pull back up RS prices to 250k when RS.2 is 300k (and it will be). If its manual and/or 4.2 RS.1 will go way way up as .2 will be complete unobtanium.
Bottom line just buy it and enjoy it-you wont lose if u get it within 10-20k of sticker.

Can't see why not if you can afford it? There's value to enjoyment now plus RSs don't lose value over the long term. They will always be in demand and frankly it's an amazing car.

It is an amazing car, gets better the more you push it. To the OP, yes!

You won't regret it. It's the best car I've ever owned, hands down. And I've owned ton. It takes whatever you give it and doesn't complain. Only issue with mine is that the tires are worn out from all the track miles.

I will never gain back the times I have not driven these cars. I love driving and more of it I do the more satisfied with my life I am...
This^^^^^^^ time is precious, money, not so much. Spend it, you'll make more.

He's right. Jump from 150 car to 250 car is a big jump for most people.

I ordered a GT3.2 with a manual just for fun. I am not trading in or selling my RS. A new RS with a few more bells and whistles and another 100K or so wouldn't interest me.

I was able to get a GT3.1 and a .1RS but probably won't be able to get a .2RS.

If you don't have a 918 or a really strong relationship with your dealer you probably won't be able to get one either.

The delta between the .1 GT3 & GT3RS here was I think $30k or $40k CAD. Not $100k. but I hear you with the US dealer ADM.

Be careful what you wish for.

My Voo Doo RS is for sale - someone is tempting me with a 575 Super America trade.

in terms of whether to wait, it depends more on whether you’re ok waiting more than a year without one to get a .2 and whether you’ll even be able to get a .2 allocation, especially if they’re very limited as some say they will be.
Actually, .1RS prices may go up. Just look at what’s going on now. .2GT3 are fetching $20k adms in many cases. .1RS still fetching $20 adms in many cases 2 years on with over exaggerated WW production to boot. New unlimited production GT2RS commanding $200k adm or more.

.2GT3RS will be limited production and last 991RS and NA. Then we have the 918 owners that will get first crack.

Let’s start the adm bidding. Do I here $200k over?

Yes, thank you. Do I hear $250k over?

Yes, the man in the back with the toilet paper size roll of money bidding $300k over.

Do I hear $350k?...........

.1RS prices could easily go up $50k or more.
