991.2 Gt3 Sharkwerks Exhaust
#2
Probably check with SW but my guess if there are any changes it has nothing to do with the size and fitments....the bypass should work....

Would be surprised if the part numbers have even changed from 997 part numbers on the exhaust with the .2's; the .1's used all 997 part numbers for the exhaust.
Should fit, but to add another point, unsure about mounts, etc.

I'm in the same situation and reached out to them. They confirmed that the 991.1 will fit the 991.2 with no problem.

I don't understand why you're asking this, though.
If you have the exhaust now ... just see if it will fit when your .2 GT3 arrives.
If you don't have the exhaust now ...
Are you expecting pricing to fluctuate between now and arrival of your car?

I just got an allocation (Oct 2018 build w November delivery) and this is one of the things I'd like to get done. I have the 997.1 Bypass and it sounds incredible. Any thoughts on how the Bypass will sound on the 991.2 versus 991.1? I listened the Sharkwerk's videos on their site and it certainly sounds good on the 991.1. Hopefully will be as good if not better on the .2.

I don’t think this is a sharkwerks initiated thread so I hope asking this here is kosher: can anyone compare sharkwerks vs gmg? Asking bc I have a free gmg Center take-off from a 911R, which id like to put on upcoming GT3.2.. worth going for the sharkwerks which everyone seems to love, or is gmg as good?
The other option is full Dundon but don’t see the need to drop the coin yet, will enjoy with Center delete initially especially at $0.

Agree. I’m sure they are both good but another vote here for GMG. I had it on my .1 and you get the growl on the low end and a lot of volume and shrieking at the upper end. I’m under the impression that the SW is slightly quieter throughout the rpm range, which may be preferred depending on your home environment.

Any opinions on whether to use the standard tips or get the larger ones offered by Sharkwerks?
Is this a pretty easy install for a DIYer without having to remove the rear bumper?

That's what I've been hearing too. Matt did a great review of the two (checkout link below); he does a lot of awesome videos. I'm kinda leaning towards the GMG though but some people are saying that the stock exhaust sounds much better/louder on the 991.2. Looking forward to see what people have to say about the exhaust when the .2 starts hitting the states.
