Default LWB cutout for sub belt

This will bring back memories for some. As I am preparing my 15 GT3 for trade in, I'm removing my Schroth belts with Cantrell sub belt bar. I remember the cutout didnt exist and had to have cutouts made into the seat to pass the belt to sub belt bar. Was this ever resolved in the RS and 16 GT3's or will the 18 likely require the same treatment? I know the Euro cars had them but not the US.

My my car is an April build so I know this will have been addressed by then. Just wondering.

There's an opening on the drivers side but not passenger in the RS.

In my RS was an opening on passenger side as well. I specd the car (Europe) with passenger 6-point belts.

US cars don’t have the cutout, suspect this is due to the passenger airbag weight sensor.
My local PCA region invalidates the seat if you modify it. Are other regions doing this?

So they rather the passenger be unsafe? Shortsighted at best, ignorant most likely. When the Driver and European seat have this exact same cutout, how can they say it is unsafe?

Agreed. Bureaucratic mindset ...

From what I've been told (by a national safety advisor), that new requirement is pending National approval. Hung up in the executive committee or something.
