It will also let you order them in deviated exterior color with PTS just not in exterior color with PTS. However, this does not result in a conflict if you have not specced PDLD or PDLS.

Again, at this time there is no confirmation yet of the deletion of the headlight washer nipples being deleted from GT3, much less even GTS. But they are apparently on their way out. Kind of surprising actually since having them painted to match body color or done in a deviating color or whatever has no doubt been a source of revenue for Porsche over the years.

I do not know about that. When I ordered
by '12 Boxster Spyder, I asked for 'Guards
Red' deviated nipples on my 'Aqua Blue
Metallic' exterior & 'Carrera Red' interior
car! Then PCNA's 'Porsche Exclusive'
manager Sascha Glaeser explained that
PAG probably loses money every time
they agree to do that for $295. Here is
how it works. For certain 'Exclusive'
options not in demand, such as deviated
color nipples, PAG does not deliver them
to the assembly line in their normal 'just-
in-time' logistical dance. Instead they
just place the default chrome color nipple
in the production line & make the exchange
for the colored nipples at the 'Exclusive
Manufaktur' workshop AFTER the car
finishes production & is getting other
'Exclusive' options installed. And the
process for installing those nipples,
Sascha explained, involves removing
the entire front bumper to remove the
chrome ones & install the deviated color
ones. So I am not too sure this deviated
color nipple option at $295 is actually
a source of 'revenue' as you might
think!

I'm a little confused. What does "phased out" mean? It's either coming to NA for 2018 models or it isn't. Wouldn't it be odd that it comes on some 2018 Porsche cars and not ALL 2018 Porsche cars? Especially, if this decision is connected with some Governing Agency?
Finally, if it's not coming on Porsche 2018 cars, wouldn't every single person/dealer who specced a painted nipple have their build/order sheet revised to remove this option and cost?
Is anything straight forward anymore, or do I have to enroll in MENSA to determine if cars come with stuff or cars come without stuff.

recruiting & they are putting these billboards all over
the place:
I really don't know how effective they are or if
it will endear them to the general population!
As luck with have it, we don't have to worry
about intelligence here on Rennlist. Like the
citizens of Lake Wobegon, all the women here
are strong, all the men are good looking, and
all the children are above average!

The manual says the headlight washers spray every tenth time you use the windshield wiper spray. It doesn't say it, but I assume the lights have to be on. Also I think there's a button on the wiper stalk for the headlight sprayers. I haven't used it.

Just saw a new Carrera T with the LED lights and no washer nozzles. Car was a few weeks old.
My GT3 with PDLS and Jan build has the nozzles (in body color).
