^ Please keep us updated especially if you are saying this is some thing new. it would be informative what the issue is

I noticed when my car is cold that it hesitates a little in first or reversing out of garage but it feels that it is the clutch engaging. Has always been like that so never bothered me.

Taking it to shop tomorrow. Anyone with 2015 gt3 had this come up and fixed yet? crappy timing as I'm trading it for my RS jan 1! Or maybe good, they can fix it.
Could be a thermostat issue. Failing thermostats bring a whole raft f issues as well as occasional cold idle stalling etc...keep us posted.

That's interesting. I started this thread a long time ago, and I think the issue pretty much went away at about the time I had my thermostat replaced. Or maybe I just got used to it When I brought this issue up to the dealer at some point, they said it tested "within factory parameters".

I have the same issue with my new 16 GT3 and it is NOT from mismanaging the throttle. It is a definite delay and feels as if the engine is stalling. The car will pull as if it was in 7th gear and then suddenly catch (lurch) and finally accelerate. It first happened when the car was new (40miles) and I took it in for diagnosis. It was not fixed. Need to take it back Monday. I'm thinking it may be related to the thermostat because, the water temperature will not go above 180, so it may be sticking in the open position? No warning lights. Any Ideas ??? Thanks, Allan

I remember seeing a procedure with the key that would "reset" the PDK so that it can begin to adapt to your driving style when in full auto mode again.

This worked for a friend of mine who was having similar hesitation issues with his 991 GT3.

I can't remember the reset procedure to save my life right now but I'm sure someone here does. Might be worth a shot to do this before going back to the dealer.

i think i am having a similar problem, but mine will happen in all gears. it doesn't happen or isn't noticeable if I shift at a high rpm. also doesn't happen all of the time but sometimes the car will get into a mode where its doing it.

when its acting up if i put it in normal auto mode it will keep the rpms low enough that the car is shaking all over the place. i was trying to take a sick pet the the hospital and it made for a very uncomfortable ride, basically had to drive the car hard to get a decent ride out of it.

Tried this today with my 16 GT3. IT WORKED. I will have to see if it continues to be OK. Thanks for the info. Best, Allan

Worked for me too! Very interesting. Was accompanied by a much larger puff of smoke on start-up but the difference is noticeable.

When you say 'it worked'....what do you mean exactly? What worked?

anyone who owned a E60 M5 would know this trick- on the m5 you pulled both paddles for ~5 sec's at 60mph I think, it would reset the SMG box and get rid of the gear change and hesitation gremlins for a while.
