Boxster 987 / hook Softroof Problem
first of all , sorry for my poor english , i am Belgian and i speak french . so i ll try in english ;-)
i bought a Boxster 987 , year 2006 with 70 000 KM , phase 1 , atlas grey .
it's my first Porsche and i love it , it a wonderfull car with a nice noise .
But i have a little problem ( i think ) from one or two weeks when i close the soft roof , the hook of the lock system dont fit in the hole as usual ...
i need to push them to lock correctly the roof , i dont know why :-(
is it possible to fix it easily or not ??
thanks very much for your help

The current operation of the latch falls within acceptable tolerances in my opinion, particularly given the age of the car and its mileage, and how little assistance is required on your part to help the latch into place. If, for example, the latch wasn't aligning up squarely with the hole or if it was coming up way short from the hole requiring you to really manipulate the latch and/or manhandle the roof, then I would be more concerned.
Maybe bring it to the attention of your dealer or mechanic the next time you have the car in for service and perhaps they can do a minor adjustment, but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Good luck and continued enjoyment of your Atlas Boxster.
