Default GTS

Hello gang, do you think there's a GTS version of the 718's coming soon?

There is always a GTS version coming from Porsche. Define "soon."

It seems like it's often the last variant released before a model update or change.

I guess the nice thing about a boosted car is that you can always make your own GTS version easily enough...

GTS should be imminent. If I were to guess, in next few months. GTS is no longer the last variant to appear in Boxster/Cayman family. That honor now goes to Spyder/GT4. The time table is tight for 982 before it wraps up in '19. So, the GTS needs to appear this year.

But, the GTS is more than just power. In fact, the power increase is only modest. As we know, it's a great value proposition: combining popular options into a subtly tweaked package. If someone is ready to pull the trigger, I would suggest to wait for the GTS.

I'd suggest they get a low mile, somewhat depreciated, naturally aspirated last-gen one ;-)
