Default Brake pads for '06 987?

Need to replace the brake pads on the new to me 987. Need street pads and also curious to hear recommendations for a track pad, have always like PFC race pads in the past.

Thanks!

I've been happy with PFC 08's John, fairly quiet on the road, good grip once warmed up at the track. Currently using them on Girodiscs with titanium shims...

For the street, we've actually enjoyed the stock ones the best. They provided the nicest cold initial bite and lowest noise.

For the track, our favorite pad has been the Race Technologies RE10. Incredible life span, low wear on rotors, and yet, still strong initial bite. We describe it as an endurance pad that has sprint-like characteristics. Fairly tough to get the best of both worlds in this realm. Although a bit pricier than the other popular options on the market, we found that the lifespan of these pads truly paid for itself.

stock pads for the street.
for the track i use r 29s all the way around and have been trying the r 14s in the rear just to see if they work better.
im getting faster and using less brakes at sebring so i cant tell if they are better.

I've used the following on all my Boxsters and the dust is nothing. I don't track. Everyone said "Oh you will wear your rotors". They were wrong. If you hate to clean these are great. I even had them on my E350, what a joy, if you have ever had an MB you know how quickly they get dirty. For years I tried to tell folks, the few that did listen or bought my cars...loved them.

Tirerack.

I went with Hawk HPS pads for both applications. For me they gave me the best balance between the two needs.
