Default Front end treatment for '06 Cayman S

I recently bought some front end lights for my '05 Boxster that really update the looks of the car along with the tail light assemblies from DelRey Customs.

The less bright LED tube is controlled by the headlight switch and the bright string of bulbs is controlled by the fog light switch.

I have the same tail lights on the Cayman and they work great.

I bought the assembly that has a string of LEDs in it but you lose the fog light as the LEDs are run strictly on the parking lights.

So, is there anything out there similar to the assembly for the Boxster made for the Cayman that uses both sets of lights.

For that matter, I know where there is a wrecked '06 Boxster and the nose is intact. Will the same year Boxster nose fit on the Cayman?

I don't want to get into some of the exotic bodywork that I have seen some do.

I know, probably not doable but I figured someone here might know about something like this.

I have had these lying around for a long time so I went ahead and put them on:

They are okay but I lose the use of the fog light and switch. I have the connector bagged and taped on each but would like to have that additional light but this is okay.

isn't this similar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/152000912661?_trksid=p2060353.m2763.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
i have no idea of quality, but i was thinking of buying a set. I'm a bit concerned that you lose the foglight functionality.

Those are for the 987.1 Boxster like I have on mine pictured in the first post except I got the similar set from Delrey Customs.

You have two sets of LEDs in that, a tube for the parking lights, and a series of brighter LED bulbs for basically a DRL type function that are controlled by the fog light switch.
I love 'em.

The picture in the first post has both sets of lights on. Here is a shot with just the parking lights on. Yeah, I know, the hood is popped in this shot.

Unfortunately, they don't work for the Cayman and the lights on the one I have on the car only run on the parking lights. The fog light connector is bagged and taped.

rx7turbo: I love the friend end treatment and agree that it really updates the car. couple questions:

1. Where did you buy it?
2. Did you have to do anything special to get the fog lights to work or was it plug-n-play?
3. Do the new driving/fog LEDs extend past the bumper or are they inset like the OEM fog lights?

I ask because I just purchased a set of these on eBay and found that the fog light didn't work correctly and the lenses extended past the bumper. Please share you experience... here are some pics:

I'm very conflicted about this. I really don't like how they extend past the bumper. Does anyone know of a solution where they fit flush like the factory setup?

If you are talking about the Boxster, I got mine from Delrey Customs. They don't show them on the website but you can call them at 310 827 8121.

They are plug and play. Each connector on the car has a corresponding one on the light assembly. They work great.

Yeah, they do stick out a little, but I have yet to see one that doesn't.

Also, they have LED tail light assemblies for the 987.1 that I have on both my Cayman S and Boxster S.

All of it updates the looks of the car and I love LED lights anyway.
