I had a 2013 981S PDK and traded it one year later for a 2014 981S MT. My car is primarily used for suburban weekend pleasure driving and occasional autocross. The manual allows you to be more involved with the car. You can anticipate the next gear you need based on the road ahead. I felt more detached from the car with the PDK. I got the PDK on the first 981 because I thought the technology was a good match for my high tech car. The PDK is one of the best automatic transmissions out there, but at the end of the day it is an automatic. It really comes down to how you use the car but shifting my Boxster on a sunny day on the right road, with the top down is sublime.

So, two threads on the same subject at the same time? What are the chances?
