Dear friends,

i received quite a few PM's about a Northern California Boxster Spyder Facebook group.. and while there are many existing groups on facebook closely related to this, non hit quite all the intersecting parts of our specific Venn diagram namely Northern California SPYDER owners.

So... for what it's worth.. I created one. This way if we want to be really picky and ONLY have spyder's from our tiny little geographically, environmentally and topographically blessed part of the world in our group.. we can have this. Realistically, this will help us if we want to take some cool group shots of just our rare little cars on a random weekend.. with non of those pesky winged GT4's or humble regular boxsters to sully our glory. (tongue in cheek please).

ok, so how do you find the group. either PM me your email address and I'll add you.. or just do a search for "Norcal boxster spyder crew" and you'll find the group. it's closed so once you send a request I'll accept you.

...except if you're from SoCal or adjacent states.. I'm sorry, then you're just S.O.L. (again, kidding)

Well now there are two of us in the group.. I know because when I checked the new member's picture the Fb caption appeared with "seen by everyone".. LOL.. Wolfpack of Two... Not bad for first day in the club.

Don't have a FB, but if you guys ever want to get together and let an old time Spyder into the group, then I'd be happy to join. I can also try to get some pictures as well.

We created our first event. Canepa cars and coffee, meeting on skyline drive at hwy 84 7:30am. This is just a suggested time and place so we can drive together to canepa in Scotts valley.

thanks for picking up the ball, alessandro. i'm not a facebook power user, so setting up a group, was beyond my capabilities. happy to lead some drives through the east bay hills or santa cruz mtns though!!!
