search is over- thank you to everyone and especially a big thank you to RL' Todd! I bought the incoming PTS Olive Green Spyder from Bob McDonald at Walters and they were fantastic to sell it at MSRP! Minimal build but includes LWBS. Will arrive in approx. 2 weeks and will post pics as soon as it does!

Congrats! I didn't think you would be able to find one, but you did!!! I actually went the same route you did when I bought my previous Riviera Blue 987.2 Spyder. I just happen to find it combing dealer inventory. I also bought from Walters. When PTS is available they typically order as many as they can as they know there is a market for them.

A metallic PTS Spyder just popped up on my autotrader alert at napleton Porsche. Can't say if it's sold or not but the MSRP IS 120k *edit* their site lists it as licht grun *

I'm still wishing I bought the dark blue 987.2 PTS Spyder but there was something missing from it that kept me away, I can't remember now what it was.
