Default Auto Window Drop

Guys,

I recently had some window tints put on my 987.2 (about a week ago) and the drivers-side window is pealing from the bottom corner close to the mirror. Anyways, the installer explained that with a typical install, he would have had the customer leave their windows up for 5-7 days, but given the auto-window drop when opening my car's door, this is not really possible.

My question... Is it possible to temporarily disable this function (until the tints dry)? If not, the other solution is leaving my car in the shop a few days until the application fully drys.

Thanks!

Not sure if that can be disabled, but I had tint applied to my Cayman 1.5 years ago with nary a problem.

I only had to wait a couple days before washing.

The minimal movement of the window should not affect properly applied tint.
The shop should re-apply it.

Agree with this. I had tint applied about a week ago and opened and closed my doors multiple times just after installation of the tint and have not had any issues. Waited a couple of days before opening the window.
