Default Aftenmarket DAB / Bluetooth

Hi,

I have a [second hand] 987.2 Boxster (2011) with PCM and a six-disc CD changer (basic speaker package, not BOSE).

However, it doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity, USB socket or DAB.

Has anyone had a positive experience of upgrading their system?

It would be great if I could connect my iPhone for music, whilst DAB would be a "nice to have"?

What would you recommend it or is it not worth the aggro / cost?

Thanks

are you sure you don't have aux input like a headphone jack in arm rest?, you could get Bluetooth adapter.

Can't find an input anywhere.
In the storage space between the seats is a cigraette lighter socket; I use this with an adapter to charge my phone.
I would have expected an aux given that it has SatNat and pretty much ever other imaginable option on the car. And the aux / bluetooth hardware raw cost is perhaps less than £5.
Maybe if I remove the head unit there will be something I can connect to with a 3rd party cable.

I had my CDR22 changed for a pioneer app radio (and a decent set of blam audio speakers).

I am very heppy with the result. Connectivity and navigation all up to date. Sound improved big time!!

No dab unfortunately but spotify over iphone is nice to have...

What model are you driving? I'm also looking into upgrading out of the base CDR on my 981.

Would be interested in the same. Would a head unit swap entail anything difficult to undo (harness change, etc)? If I could revert back to OEM painlessly, seems like a no brainer.
