Ride in the 718. How does it drive? How does it sound?

Thanks for posting. Why in the world would they go all the way to Yellowknife? I've stayed at the Explorer twice - once for a hunt and once for a fishing trip pick up/drop off. It's OK for as far away from things as it is, but it's pretty much not going on there from what I could tell.
I guess that was the idea. The cars sound like they should be fine (especially the 2.5), but I'm still thrilled I was able to snag a BGTS.
Funny about the Northern Lights and conception thing - we (the guys hunting) were the only non-Japanese in the hotel and the place was totally empty. They stayed in their rooms all day (see the thing about conceiving under the Northern Lights) and went on viewing (lights) tours at night. We literally had the entire hotel to ourselves. Before I realized what was happening, I asked the desk clerk if we were the only people there and she said "Oh no, we're 100% full." Weirdly funny.

Meh. "Reviews" like this from the passenger seat are useless. They're nothing more than pre-marketing fluff peddled by the manufacturers. Until there's a full road test by an independent third party, it's hard to tell the sales pitch from reality.

This article indicates no additional weight added for the new model which contradicts what I've read in a few other reviews. Wonder who is correct?
True this is not a "here's the keys, see you back in a week" test/review, but I will take any journalist's impressions since there is nothing else to read about the new model.

I guess, I don't know, but I suspect, that for the author of this piece, Jens Katemann, English is not his first language. Not that his grammar is poor, no, but, that his use of commas is, shall we say, excessive.
