Default Black (Cayman) Friday

Just picked up my black on black Cayman R today. Such a completely different animal from the air cooled 911s I'm used to. I absolutely love it!

Beautiful car, congratulations! Looks like an extremely clean example...Be sure to share some driving impressions after you've put on a few miles!

Thanks. Only 8K miles and the PO babied it so it does look virtually new.

Congrats again and enjoy in good health!

I also would love to get your impressions, especially as it compares to the 993 which is one of the other cars I would love to own.

Thanks. I'll post some impressions as soon as I've had a bit of time with the Cayman R.

Gosh, that's clean. Wasn't aware they offered that sport design wheel on any of the 987 variants. Amazing what that wheel does to modernize the interior!

Thanks all. I'm absolutely loving the car. I had some qualms about letting my '87 Carrera go in favor of the R, but after driving the Cayman for a bit I don't think I'll miss the Carrera too much.
