Default Hold assist function?

As a new GT4 owner I am trying to confirm the normal behavior for the Hold assist feature. For other 981 owners does your Hold function operate on hills for longer than a second or two (till throttle is applied) and does your HOLD indicator come on in the dash when active? My owners manual shows it as holding till throttle is applied just like it was in my 991, need to see if it is the same for 981? Thanks

On my 981 S the hill hold is active the "Hill Hold" indicator on the dash lights up in green IIRC. It only comes on for hills of a certain grade in steepness (so at least on mine, it doesn't come on for just a slight incline).

Thanks for confirming Dino944, that is the same behavior I had in my 991.

Anyone else have the same behavior in a 981 Cayman (preferably manual trans model)?

Good to hear Dino944... any chance I can get one more person to confirm as an additional data point?

You should go to the GT4 forum thread...

Uh... that is my thread. I am trying to validate whether the behavior I am seeing is unique to the GT4 or to all 981 models.

So far it seems to be my car acting odd...

Thanks guys, looks like this is a GT4 issue then and not a 981 one.
