Will the 20 inch 981 Carrera S wheels that look similar to the 19 inch R/Spyder wheels fit a 987.1 Cayman?
I apologize if this has already been addressed in another thread. I've tried searching and haven't found anything.

dumbbell, I don't know whether they will fit, but the suspension tuning on 981s is different than 987s and I think you might find a 20" wheel on a 987 would be really rough and the ride would be a bit jittery.
I have 19s on a Cayman and the ride borders on harsh, and I have read the same opinion many times in several forums.

I have 19s on the Cayman now, and I will admit that you do feel the bumps. I suppose I need to hold out for some 19" R/Spyder wheels. There just seemed to be a lot more of the 20" 981 wheels available second hand.

I have a set of 20" Modulare M4 wheels for my 987.2. The fit is perfect and no rubbing. The ride is slightly firmer that the 19's that I have on now.
Because I mostly track, my 20" wheels are up for sale. I have a few pics of what the 20" wheels look like on a 987 in my ad here:
