I recently moved from an 02 Boxster to an 2011 Box. This ride, when on the highway, I notice a distinct whistling noise that I never heard in my old box, but can't track it down. Thinking some loose trim?
Anyone else out there have or had a whistle at highway speeds with a 987.2?

Maybe a stupid question but did you verify windows are completely up? Another person posted same issue and he found passenger window was not going all the way to the top.

 

I only notice the whistle with the roof open....windows can be up or down.

 

It is from the mirrors. search mirror whistle and you will find how to fix it.
