Since from what I can tell, the only difference between single and double is appearance and maybe the toy factor....I'd like to save some money, go with a single din in my 2011 boxster so I can use that money elsewhere on my sound upgrade.
So, the question is - am I missing something in this line of thought and....if I go single din, is there something out there that would fill the hole in the dash? A storage bin or something?

Thoughts anyone? Thanks.
