The first production piece came out of the mold today. Fits very nicely and is going to be mounted on Bill's black Cayman Saturday. I will post pictures of the install.

The Cayman splitter went on Bill's car this morning. With the factory lips off the car installation took about 15 - 20 minutes. Here are a few pictures of the finished part. The car looks really good. I have more pictures on my facebook page.

looks great Joe, hope you find a 987.2 volunteer soon. One observation, i think it would look even better if the lip was blended in a bit more as it goes towards the wheel arch. (i.e. didn't stick out so much, might find curbs a bit to easy?). Probably looks different in the flesh? Front looks fantastic though! Great job!

I'm interested in this splitter and am also in Canada. I'll keep an eye on this thread and would love to try it out. It looks slightly lower than my ITC splitter.

danio, Ernie at Mantis has one if you want to see it. Here is a picture to help determine ground clearance for the splitter. Actual number is 19-1/2" to the bottom of the marker light. Camera was on a bit of angle when it was taken. The ground clearance on this car is 3-1/2".

I bought the splitter and dive planes from Joe for my 996 and I have to say the effect on the track of having both was amazing especially when the car would unweight coming over turn 1 at Laguna. The front end just felt glued to the track. The stabilizing effect both these have on the car cannot be overstated. One should probably consider more rear wing if running both the splitter and the dive planes on a Cayman on the track just to keep some semblance of balance.
Quality is great as well. Mine was constantly hitting the pavement yet it held up amazing well.
Glad to see you are working on a setup for the 987.2 Joe as I'd definitely consider using your stuff again, it's that good.
