Why do these idiots bother reporting on stuff if they can't get it right. IT HAS AIR CONDITIONING STANDARD, MORON. 99.9% will be spec'd that way too.

Obviously, this is a marketing strategy, as the A/C is a $0 optional *add* rather than a $0 optional "delete". Interesting. Bold move, Porsche

In line with the model's traditional roadster character, neither a radio nor an air conditioner is included as standard equipment in order to reduce weight. However, both can be ordered as optional equipment at no cost.

That is copy/pasted from the PCNA press release.

Yes, according to the German site configurator A/C has to be added (at no cost) if you want it on your Spyder.
