Default 987 Oil leak

What do you guys think of this oil leak? It appears to be coming from the oil pan area, maybe the gasket? Is this common on 987's?

I does look like a pan gasket leak to me.
Are you missing a couple of oil pan bolts, or is it just lack of clarity in the photo?

Looks like all the pan bolts are there to me.

More importantly, what year is the car and how many miles?

Leak from an unmolested/untouched oil pan gasket is rare.

Are there any signs the pan has been bottomed out?

Have you reused the oil drain sealing washer?

Also, I have to point out there is a lot of engine above where that leak sign is. The leak could be from higher up, so before you condemn the oil pan gasket or the oil drain plug/sealing ring you need to carefully inspect the engine -- from underneath with the car in the air -- looking for any source of an oil leak up higher.

There is no oil pan gasket, just sealer.

My thought would be the plug gasket. The oil on the lip could have easily been blown back considering that's at the rear edge. I would replace the plug gasket, clean and recheck before anything else.
