Resurrecting an older thread in case anyone wanted to see 987 sport seats side by side with sport plus.

I recently purchased Sport Plus seats from a fellow Rennlister. My car's interior is sand beige and surprisingly Sport Plus seats are hard to find used but I finally got lucky.

I have not yet driven the car with the new seats so can't give a review of how comfortable they are.

I went from those sport seats in my 997S to the basic seat in a ‘14 Cayman S. Never liked the basic seat and the perforation made them seem cheap. The lack of bolstering also takes away from the sporty feel of the other. Anyway you did very good. I think Porsche has been cutting corners since the 997/987 in some areas, seats included less the 918 seat. I don’t like any of the new textile seats. A good job by Porsche to give you less without bringing much attention to it.

I have them in my 987.2 Spyder and find them pretty good. They were certainly an upgrade over the stock 6GT3 seats, those seats were crap.
