Factory Buils sheet

Porsche factory build sheet. Not sure if this was posted before.

I found this posted on 6Speedonline. All you need is a VIN and you can search build sheets for 1995 models and up. Really cool. You can see exactly what option were included in your car.
You can also filter by PCNA or PCL. I assume PCNA are cars shipped to the US. I'm not sure what PCL stands for. This filter could give an indication of how many cars came to the US. Base on what I know on my car this site seems to be accurate.

There's been several discussion from RS60 and Spyder owners on how many of these models came to the US. I think this site gives a good indication.

Here's a list of limited Production Boxsters that came to the US. It seems Porsche focused on limited editions in 2008.
The 2012 Cayman S Blk Edition came out on top as the least amount produced for the US with only 12 cars.

2004 Boxster S Special Model - 721

2008 Boxster Limited Edition - 237

2008 Boxster S Limited Edition - 237

2008 Cayman S Design Edition - 233

2008 Boxster S RS60 Spyder - 718

2008 Cayman S Sport - 95

2008 Boxster S Design Edition 2 - 31

2011 Boxster Spyder - 621

2012 Boxster Spyder - 138

2012 Cayman R - 563

2012 Boxster S Blk Edition - 145

2012 Cayman Blk Edition - 91

2012 Cayman S Blk Edition - 12

The Spyder numbers match up with what we have researched in the past so this does seem plausible. I wish Porsche would backdate this to the 60's so I could figure out how many 911 Sporto's they made.

Thanks for the link and the heads up, definitely a useful tool for us Porsche nuts who can't seem to stop buying them.

I will study those reported import figures:

2011 Boxster Spyder - 621

2012 Boxster Spyder - 138

to see how they truly square with our previous information & analysis....as soon as I have the time!

Steve Colletti - Look at reported Cayman R PCNA imports - 563!

No 1996 year…but 1995 and then 1997. Tried a search of my 1996 by VIN and nothing. Tried 1997 VIN does not pull up. Tried all 1997 C2 and only pulled up one vehicle. Too bad this would have really helped with the 993 numbers.

Works for my Spyder though.

Is that link to all the Spyders built in 2012? Seems like it would be very easy to build some type of excel chart that would allow for searching by certain options which could be a huge value to prospective owners.

yes, 2011 is also available. It would be nice to see how many no option spyders ordered, and who has a 1 of 1 build.
