Does PTV prevent or reduce wheel hop/axel tramp?
Is there a way to prevent wheel hop on a Boxster? Does PASM, SC, or 20 Inch Wheels make any difference?

it is the nature of the beast IRS.independent rear suspension. you can lessen it by semi solid suspension bushings,tires,alignment,springs etc. all of which will turn a manageable everyday driver into a truck like ride. where/when are you getting wheel hop ? a porsche is not a torque monster tire burner

I've owned a 99 996 Cab and also a 05 Boxster S. My new 981 S is not going to be in my driveway for a little over 2 weeks. I remember wheel hop being a real problem on my 996, but can't recall it being on on my 987. When Porsche gave me the demo boxster for 24 hours it seemed to be a problem and after researching I've discovered it also a problem in this generation.
Maybe I'll get lucky and it won't be a problem on my new car.
