There is another option if all else fails. The Recaro Pole Positon is basically the same seat with two differences. One, it does not fold forward, not an issue in a Spyder. The second is no airbags in the sides of the seat.

Good news is they are far less expensive as in under 2K for a pair with leather on the bolsters and alcantera on the seating cushions. I have them in my SC and they feel the same as the factory sport buckets

I disagree with the fold forward not being needed with a Spyder unless you feel like yanking the seats for a belt change.

I was thinking the same thing but belt changes are infrequent so it's not a big deal.

Regarding the buckets, I disagree about sprinkles on a turd comment. It's more like the icing on the cake.

Actually I bought my buckets and a Spyder was what they came wrapped in!
The buckets are the only way to go!
If you are too tall, you can remove the bottom bolster to pass the broomstick test, and they are still comfortable in this configuration..
