Sourcing Sport Bucket Seats
#16
Its complicated. My wife had a BMW Z8 and I had a '10RS. We needed to ditch cars because we were moving into a condo. So we combined 2 into one and got the Spyder as a compromise. My wife said no to the seats, but I got to pick all other options. Once I found out people had a booster pad made….its game on!
Good news is they are far less expensive as in under 2K for a pair with leather on the bolsters and alcantera on the seating cushions. I have them in my SC and they feel the same as the factory sport buckets

Regarding the buckets, I disagree about sprinkles on a turd comment. It's more like the icing on the cake.

Actually I bought my buckets and a Spyder was what they came wrapped in!
The buckets are the only way to go!
If you are too tall, you can remove the bottom bolster to pass the broomstick test, and they are still comfortable in this configuration..
