You would think that attendees would be treated better than that no matter what day they came in.
Having worked registration, I think your comments area little selfish. First ALL the people that work registration are volunteers and also are paid entrants at parade. It is clearly stated in the instructions " that the only time all event chairs will be available is on registration day which is Sunday." After that we do our best to support those who are late in arriving. In fact, this year we actually opened earlier and stayed open later than the posted times to help late arrivals, but there comes a point where the people that give of their time to help out late arrivals also want to enjoy the Parade events they paid for.

The bottom line is, the volunteers that donate their time to make Parade an enjoyable event for all do a great job but, there comes a point where the entrants must also be flexible and respect that indeed the workers are volunteers that have also paid to enjoy parade.

Next year I would suggest that if circumstances prevent you from registering on time you let us know in advance and we will try, within reason to help you out..... still remember we are volunteers. Hope the rest of your week was enjoyable.

"Selfish" because I need to pickup material PCA requires me to have before I can attend events I paid for and want to participate in? Pleez.

And, Yes, we are enjoying the drives, and the people. The area is scenic, the weather great, and the food excellent. Everything has been well-planned except what I mentioned.
